[TYPO3-english] Danish characters are ok, but will not show or be saved?

Attaching files to posts often goes wrong for those who read messages in
newsgroups or on the mailing lists. So I'll go by what you wrote.
It's best to put images somewhere on the web and put a link to the image
in your post.

I have no idea what you did to convert the database, but it is quite a
bit of work if you do it manually. Besides, depending on various
settings there may already be problems with double encoded data.
You can find more information and tools to convert databases and fix
various problems at [1].
If you're already using TYPO3 6.x (I didn't mention the version) you're
probably already in trouble as it requires a UTF-8 database.
