[TYPO3-english] Re: New install

I started again, and once again it failed when installing the introduction distribution - the message this time was about writing a file to the Cache directory (although it had managed to write quite a few other files, and there was plenty of disc space left!)

I  tried again and got the original error message, see below?

I'll try again with one of the other distributions perhaps and see if any of these work....
