[TYPO3-english] Extension manager error: "The connection was reset"

Hi. 

Just did a local installation of Typo3 6.2.5 on the Uniform Server (a WAMP package).

Everything is running fine except for the Extension manager. I get a "The connection was reset" error and the extension manager never loads.

I am really not sure why I get this error and will appreciate any suggestion.
