[TYPO3-english] Twitter Bootstrap Carousel: how to stop it from resizing automatically to a square?

Hello,

Using the Bootstrap Carousel (from the bootstrap intro package 6.2.6)

The width of the images in the carousel are automatically resized to 100% of the div which is fine.
But then the height is also automatically adjusted but not in proportion, but rather to equal the width size. Gives a square and distorted images.

How please should the actually CSS be changed and what would the TS look like?
