[TYPO3-english] PDF thumbnails - formats - image size?

Hi,

thanks, I know that, and have both on my VPS, and generating thumbnails 
from images works fine, but with PDF (only first page needed) I get gif 
(256 colors) or huge png (400K). In Photoshop same size PNG-24 is 140K, 
while jpg is about 52K.
