[TYPO3-english] 6.2 EM problems

Hi,

I have now struggled for a month to get one pretty simple new site up 
with 6.2.

Struggle mainly because the extensions are not compatible, with each 
other or core. And partly it just seems so because of 6.2's very strict 
policy of uploaded extensions. It just doesn't upload extensions at all 
that are marked to be compatible until 6.1.x.

This should be simple to change in ext_emconf.php and test again. But 
no, problem gets bigger with the only *.t3x extensions:

1. first you have to install them to a 6.1.x installation (at least I 
don't know a way to modify t3x locally with a normal computer mac or pc)
2. you modify extension in the test server
3. download and upload to 6.2 and hope it works. Many times it does, 
many times it doesn't.

So you have to have 6.1.x installation anyway to test everything.

What makes this even worse is that you can't downgrade 6.2 to 6.1. Or is 
there a way I just don't know about?
