[TYPO3-english] Which linkhandler to use?

I wasn't aware of the repository on git.typo3.org. It's rather good use 
as the extension was clearly unmaintained about 2 years ago. Which is 
why I started the fork on Github (with no intent to make it official; I 
just needed a working version and decided to share it with the community).

I haven't tested the version from git.typo3.org so I can't say what is 
it's status. However since the last commit is 6 months old, I would 
suspect that it's not compatible with TYPO3 6.2. The Github fork that 
you found is working fine on 6.2, so I would advise using it for now. If 
there's some official release of linkhandler in the future, you can 
always switch back to it.
