[TYPO3-english] No pictures in frontend

Hi,
I recently established a new TYPO3 ver 6.2.3 site and have a problem with images. I see all images in the backend, but none in the frontend. There are no messages in log files. No messages when I set the option to display errors on screen. gfx tests in installation module show no errors. What could possibly be the problem?
