[TYPO3-english] Cal Base. Charset in abbreviated day-labels

Regarding Calendar Base.

When day labels are abbreviated some strange thing happens.

In danish the name for Saturday and Sunday are Lørdag and Søndag.

These are rendered just fine. But in the month view where labels are 
abbreviated it says: l?r and s?n.

Charset is set correctly on website to utf-8. I think the crop (as there 
are no translation handling for the abbreviated labels) in php-code 
converts to some other charset. However I can not find where the crop is 
done in the php-files.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated...
