[TYPO3-english] error: folder variants does not exist

Hi,

TYPO3 6.1.7

I try to make a link in rte, I get error after saving:

Oops, an error occurred!
Folder variants does not exist.
More information regarding this error might be available online.

This might be some owner rights thing.

The server setup is:
- plesk 10 virtual host system
- PHP supports run as FastCGI
- safe_mode off
- open_basedir none

Other sites work with similar setup, but this one, which is originally 
bootstrap demo package, gives now this error.

Any idea what might cause this?
