Addendum:

A workaround needed for felogin does the job for IS as well. Thanks a lot, Ernesto and Benjamin!

1) Add css_styled_content as a dependency

  'typo3' => '6.2.0-6.2.99',
  'css_styled_content' => '6.2.0-6.2.99',

2) Disable and re-enable IS via extension manager (just clearing the cache seems not to be sufficient)

3) Clear Cache (did it via terminal, just to make sure)

4) Enjoy the plugin, which suddenly is back again and does it's job as good or bad as ever

There's one more glitch remaining, but it looks like peanuts.
