[TYPO3-english] Menu of section VS content in flexform

Salutations to all!

I have a Typo3 4.7 site with pages with flexcontents containing lots of content elements.  When I add a section menu, I only get a menu of the flexcontents (without the content elements inside...) When I place a section menu inside a flexcontent, I only get a menu of the content elements inside that particular flexcontent!

Is there a way to have a section menu with all the content elements of a page regardless of the flexcontents?
