Hi everyone,
I hav a client running T3 4.5LTS and they managed to do something really bad *ahemdumbahem*. It appears that they destroyed a crucial part (page?) in TYPO3 and now their site just shows as a blank page.
Thanks to the never-ending brilliance of Dmitry (see http://www.dmitry-dulepov.com/2009/03/blank-empty-page-in-typo3.html ), I was able to turn the blank page into an error dump and trace the disaster as follows:
Fatal error: Uncaught exception 'RuntimeException' with message 'The requested page didn't have a proper connection to the tree-root! <br /><br />(Broken rootline (failed on page with uid 3885))' in /home/user/public_html/typo/typo3_src-4.5.35/typo3/sysext/cms/tslib/class.tslib_fe.php:1118 Stack trace: #0 /home/user/public_html/typo/typo3_src-4.5.35/typo3/sysext/cms/tslib/class.tslib_fe.php(1373): tslib_fe->getPageAndRootline() #1 /home/user/public_html/typo/typo3_src-4.5.35/typo3/sysext/cms/tslib/class.tslib_fe.php(980): tslib_fe->getPageAndRootlineWithDomain('3884') #2 /home/user/public_html/typo/typo3_src-4.5.35/typo3/sysext/cms/tslib/class.tslib_fe.php(826): tslib_fe->fetch_the_id() #3 /home/user/public_html/typo/typo3_src-4.5.35/typo3/sysext/cms/tslib/index_ts.php(335): tslib_fe->determineId() #4 /home/user/public_html/typo/typo3_src-4.5.35/index.php(83): require('/home/user/p...') #5 {main} thrown in
/home/user/public_html/typo/typo3_src-4.5.35/typo3/sysext/cms/tslib/class.tslib_fe.php on line 1118
I've searched the archives and found similar posts, but most assume I can access the TYPO3 backend, which I cannot.
I'm pretty sure I need to go into the database and manually set a root flag to tie things back together. If so, does anybody know of a quick and easy way to do that?
Thanks as always,
-Scott.
