[TYPO3-english] Full country name instead of country code in generated email!

I've got a form that a user fills out. Amongst these entries is

uid2534 = Country

Now, the user can select from a drop-down list his/her country. And all works just fine and dandy except for the fact that the mailer sends the mail with Country as country-code, i.e. US instead of USA, CA instead of Canada, PR instead of Peru, etc.

Is there a way to fix that?
