Here is the easy way to add columns (in page TSConfig):

TCEFORM {
         tt_content {
             imagecols.addItems {
                9 = 9
               10 = 10
                 }
            }
        }

The bootstrap package was responsible of removing col number to 6 with 
removeItems.
