[TYPO3-english] Backend layouts: Identification with alias?

Hello,


I'd like to use backend layouts[1] with my TYPO3 instances, but have a
problem:

In frontend TypoScript, I can only distinguish between the layouts by
their UID.
UIDs are very impractical when deploying the backend layouts from
the test system onto staging or production, when multiple people design
provide layouts - UIDs change then and can't be kept in sync across
all systems.


So my question: Is there a way to identify a backend layout in
TypoScript without relying on UID, e.g. through an alias?
