Well, of course the browser needs to retrieve the style sheets, 
JavaScript files, and images that are used in the site. Looks pretty 
normal to me. If you want to reduce the number of request, you could 
look at merging all the CSS and JavaScript files into one and using 
sprites for icons / backgrounds. But I doubt that's the problem in your 
case. Has the CPU load suddenly increased?

I can see that your hoster seems to have suspended your account. You may 
want to investigate if your site is attacked or has been hacked.
