[TYPO3-english] workspaces - no diff is shown for record change

hi

does anyone expierience the issue that workspaces do not show 
differences between changed record?

I mean no green, red colors at all. Both records preview (LIVE / DRAFT) 
are the same as version from LIVE.

Interesting that the same version of the page (the same files/database) 
place on other hosting works!

So probably the problem is some php misconfiguration ?
Some php module?
PHP version ?

I'd be glad to hear any clues.
