Hi,

just in general: nobody is against any extension. There are core devs 
using TV and there are some who dont but this is not limited to the core 
team.

You can't force people using TV and you can create awesome sites without 
using it. The target of the core is not to ship templates, this can be 
done in seperate extensions. If there is need for special changes in the 
core, just create a feature request and it will be added most likely.

And please please don't forget: TYPO3 6.0 got many many changes, quite a 
few extensions might break and can be fixed with changing just a few 
lines and 6.0 is still not stable.
