Hello Guys,

it does not make sense to offend each other, as we all - hopefully -
want the best for our customers (and us).

The point is that other systems have some features, which are common,
which are missing in

	a) standard pagemodule
	b) standard templating

a) 1. Drag'n'Drop (works with gridelements, i know, but is also not
      core)

b) 1. sharing of templates always needs some adjustments
b) 2. page layouts (now works with be-layouts)

And other little things ;)

The point is, to make TYPO3 available to a broader audience, it would be
nice to have these features and some more.

RON did a very great job to have something like a neutral, but flexible
templating approach, which allows sharing of templates (as extension)
between installations.

Cyril is getting paid to implement sth. similar for the new blog example
- so there is hope - but currently most of this "userfriendly" solutions
are not pushed officially. Therefore i understand andis frustration.

The framework approach RON uses can be also transformed, to be used with
FLUID or classic templating, but this would require additional work ;)

@Philipp, the xml in TV causes some performance issues, which can be
fixed with heavier caching :D - so i understand the principle problem
with TV.

Regards Kay
