[TYPO3-english] default form - send confirmation mail

Hey there,

i've got a question about the default page content type form:

Is it possible to send a confirmation e-mail each time a user fills in a form?
It's actually sort of a reminder mail.

If i create a form where people can sign up for an event i automatically want to send them an e-mail with the details of the event and the confirmation that their subscription has been received.
