[TYPO3-english] realURL, tt_news: strange value_alias

Dear list,
I'm experiencing a strange problem with realURL and tt_news. Very rarely the field 'value_alias' in the table 'tx_realurl_uniqalias' contains strange combinations of letters and numbers that have nothing to do with the page title or the path at all.

The links are working, so if I put something like this http://www.blah.de/news/detail/artikel/-b397b5ea7c/ in my browser's address field, I can access the article without any problems. I'm just wondering where this behaviour is coming from.

Is that some kind of error or just some hiccup of realURL that I have to live with?
