Extbase changes every 2-3 months in an incompatible way. Even parts of the 
core did not work due to Extbase changes a month ago. So I doubt it is that 
simple with Neos.

I can be wrong, of course. I am not that much into Extbase but I got an 
impression that it is very unstable in terms of API classes.
