[TYPO3-english] how to use git

In fact! And I must admit I don't really like that many extensions are
no more "officially" published to TER.

I know that when an extension is actively developed there are always bug
fixes and improvements but having a release every once in a while first
advertises the extension and provides a very easy way to use the
extension from a non-developer POV. And it forces the developer to set
some milestones which is IMHO very good.

Idea: having a Git extension for TYPO3, just as the one for SVN would
certainly be really interesting though for continuous use of the
development version.
