[TYPO3-english] Images gets very dark

GraphicsMagick is not an option, unfortunately. The host is considering 
it ...

I have googlet TYPO3 and strip_profile but with no luck.
I have tried to put $TYPO3_CONF_VARS['GFX']['im_stripProfileCommand'] = 
''; into localconf, but with no luck.

Anything else to try?
