In case you have rsaauth and saltedpasswords extensions enabled this approach does not work.

If you're on a new TYPO3 instance, I guess your hosting provider gave you the necessary credentials for Installtool and BE Admin.
And I'm sure you already tried the default user admin:password, didn't you?
