[TYPO3-english] No table to write data to has been set using the setting "cacheTable".

Hi all,

recently I updated to typo3 4.5.14, coming from 4.5.11. After that I
updated some extensions (backend, import extensions, update extensions;
as usual). Suddenly, after/while updating tt_news, the backend broke
with error

No table to write data to has been set using the setting "cacheTable".

However, the frontend still works. Only, I could not see any page (right
hand side) in the backend, and, once logged out, I cannot login to the
backend.

This might be related to this bug report,
http://forge.typo3.org/issues/35315. Consequently, I added
$TYPO3_CONF_VARS['SYS']['useCachingFramework'] = false; to my
localconf.php and deleted all temp_CACHED_* files in /typo3conf.

I can reach the install tool, /typo3/install/, and did Database Analyser
--> COMPARE. There were two table regarding tt_news, I updated the
database. Now there is nothing to do, no differencies.

Unfortunately, the error remains. What can I do now?

Kindest regards,
 Henning
