[TYPO3-english] Indexed Search no longer finds partial matches

After upgrading a clients site to 4.7, indexed search no longer finds
matches if the search term is a partial word.

For example, if I search for "conferenc" I get 0 results, when
searching for "conference" I get all the matches I would expect.

This was not the behavior I was observing with 4.5. In 4.5,
indexed_search returned the same results for the partial search term as
well.

I was unable to find any setting relating to this behavior.
