Hi there!

using the CE:downlod I offer some pdf to downlod in FE.

The point ist:
What does the Browser do with the file.

I personally dont set a target, and everything works as expected.

The File is saved to disk, cause in my Browser the MIME types für pdf is
set to save.


But from on other machines I get error reports, cause the file is opened
in the browser in the same window.


All I can say: check your MIME-Settings.



Ist this right? Can I influence the browser behavior, configure TYPO3?


What is your experiance with this issue. Mostly I have no negative
feedback on this, but some of my customers insist this is a bug I have
to solve, and I claim for MIME....

Please help me if this this is a misconfiguration by myselve, this
drives me crazy..

And yes, its the same setup since CSS_StyledContent was invented, no changes
