[TYPO3-english] Directmail facing problem with swiftmailer

Dear list,

This is typo3 typo3_src-4.5.17 with directmail 3.0.2

directmail throwing an error as

Address in mailbox given [] does not comply with RFC 2822, 3.6.2.
````````````

I have experimented with 

[MAIL][substituteOldMailAPI] 

but no luck. Is there any fix for the issue ?
