The extension works only as a wrapper for the indexer. The last update was 
years ago, so something could change in the mnogosearch engine.

The good side of using the ext is that it prevents indexing of non-content 
parts: menus, etc. So you will get more relevant results. Without ext you 
get everything else indexed too, so results may be inaccurate.

I would run the ext's indexer with increased verbosity level. It will tell 
you what it does.
