no, there's no such way. I have an extension (stg_clear_cache) for that
job, which does such recursive purging.
I plan to extend TCEMAIN.clearCacheCmd to such a recursive behavior for
4.7. However, I first need to create a function for that use case in the
core (currently, it clears the page for every child page one-by-one,
generating also a log entry for every one -> sucks).

BTW: Rootline means the way upwards to the next page defined as
is_siteroot (or even to PID 0) - thus ancestors, not children..
