[TYPO3-english] blank backend revisited

Yet another site with this problem gives more info. This is a site whrere the login form is visible, but hitting enter gives blank page and firebug/net/all/headers gives:

Now this cookie thing gets me to think of latest changes during the last system update I made and when the problems started, *I also updated phpmyadmin*.

Could this have any bearin on this. I obviously have disabled the phpmyadmin already in install tool, but that doesn't help.
