[TYPO3-english] image_autoresize in 4.5.7

I have successfully used image_autoresize on 4.4.x sites, and have just 
tried installing it on a 4.5.7 site. However, I now see 500 errors when 
uploading images (through fileadmin) that will need to be resampled.

We are using imageMagic 6.2.8 with TYPO3 4.5.7.

I have experimented with the "Keep profile and metadata" and "Automatic 
orientation" settings without any change in behavior.

Has anyone a suggestion?
