[TYPO3-english] Can't login to BE after Update from 4.4.0 to 4.5.7 - frontend broken rootline

:-) that's what i thought

well i did this procedure again and this time, the front end works 
perfectly but the backend is broken, i can log in and out but the 
backend is broken with no content appearing

the one thing i could not get to work in the update wizard is to set the 
compression level, so i enabled the lines in the htaccess file manually, 
but this doesn't fix it
