WINDOS 7 , version 4.5.7, BACK END PROBLEM

 

When I have been installing extensions,

It sometimes comes up and asks for some other extension to be installed.

If I then decide to not go ahead, and abort it,  log out, I then sometimes
cannot get back into the back end.

 

This time it says missing alt_main.php  after I log in, and won't let me
into the back end.

 

The front end works OK.
