[TYPO3-english] Preserve PNG Alpha Transparency

Hi!

I have another basic question. I have a PNG Image with alpha 
transparency in a tt_content Text w/Image Element, which I use in a COA 
(cf. TS below).

But the image loses its Alpha Channel information and has white borders 
where the transparency should be.

Is there a setting in the config that might change this?

These are some of the settings at the moment:
[GFX][gdlib_png] = 0
[GFX][im_mask_temp_ext_gif] = 1
[GFX][thumbnails_png] = 0
[GFX][png_truecolor] =
