Direct mail fetches the content of the newsletter page as a 
not-logged-in user, so links to access restricted pages as not rendered 
as links (normal TYPO3 behaviour).

Check Typoscript options config.typolinkLinkAccessRestrictedPages (and 
maybe typolinkLinkAccessRestrictedPages_addParams) for configuration of 
links to restricted pages.
