[TYPO3-english] Teaser Extension

Hi

please correct me if this question should be posted in another group!

I am looking for an extension that behaves like jp_pageteaser (create 
teaser entries for Pages based on the first images and a cropped version 
of tt_content bodytext). JP-Pageteaser works fine, but it has a lot of 
overhead.

The most annoying thing is to me that to be able to tease a page, you 
have to (automatically) create a Teaser Entry on each page - and if you 
duplicate a page, there will be too many of them.

Most other extensions I saw use the abstract field of the page, but if 
you have to write an abstract to tease your page, you might as well just 
write a content element.

What do you use if you need to tease page content?
