[TYPO3-english] FLUID : format.crop

Hello,

I'm writing a fluid/extbase extension on a T3 4.5.2.

I have <f:format.crop 
maxCharacters="1">{definition.title}</f:format.crop> in my template. But 
there is no crop !

Any idea ?
