Writing GIF fails for

'/usr/local/graphicsmagick-1.1.6/bin/gm' convert +profile '*' -geometry

The system had been upgraded to 4.4.7, and worked fine then, and when 
upgrading to 4.5.2 we went through the update wizard completely and then 
checked the Database Analyzer, which reports all well.
