[TYPO3-english] Date2cal and powermail translation

I have this:

config {

   language = de
   locale_all = de_DE.utf8
   htmlTag_langKey = de
...
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

and in case I just added this to the "ext_conf_template.txt" file:

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
lang = de
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

But still Im not getting it right :(
