[TYPO3-english] display LIST2 query tt_news

Hi,

I would like to see the query performed by tt_news to display a LIST2.
But I don't understand which function is doing the mambo jambo.

The function getSelectConf($addwhere, $noPeriod = 0) in 
class.tx_ttnews.php seems to build most of it. But in where is it performed?
