[TYPO3-english] USER/USER_INT switch

Hi, list.

I'm developing an extension, which in some cases should be USER (single view 
of record) and in some cases USER_INT (list view as search result). Is there 
any way to make a switch in ext code without splitting ext into two 
different plugins?

Also is it nice solution to make TS look like this:
plugin.tx_myext_pi1 = USER_INT
[globalVar = GP:tx_myext_pi1|uid = ]
plugin.tx_myext_pi1 = USER
[global]
If so, then it makes impossible to mix list and single view at one page - 
any other solution existing?
