[TYPO3-english] tt_news multilanguage same date for all languages

Hello,

I habe a site with 4 languages with tt_news installed and running 
smoothly so far.
The only thing that bothers me is that if I localize a news entry its 
date defaults to the current date.
Is it possible to
a) adopt the date of the default entry?
or
b) add some setting that only the date of the default entry is valid 
(same as with images)?

I would prefer b) as then I would only need to change one date in case 
it needs to be changed afterwards.
