[TYPO3-english] ###VALUE### markers NULL in wec_discussion post form

Good afternoon,

I am currently setting up a TYPO3 environement for a client of mine who has
requested commenting functionality for FE-users. As such, the display of the
felogin username in the comment thread his highly critical. I chose the
wec_discussions extension for it's usability.

I setup the plugin in BLOG mode but have found that the username (e-mail)
fields in the post form aren't filled in automatically. I have searched the
WEC forums and learned that this shouldn't be happening at all.
I checked the stock wec template and it seems that the ###VALUE_NAME###
should contain the session fe_users-username, in theory.

I feel abit hesitant to rummage about in the (extension) source, so that's
why I hope someone might be able to ascertain the source of this problem. Or
atleast point in the right direction. I'd be happy to provide any further
details if need be.
