[TYPO3-english] User defined URL paths using CoolURI

Yes, that could be done but i have demanding users who don't like redirects. 
So suppose original URL is:

1. site/index.php?id=23

CoolURI URL is:

2. site/some/nice/url/path

Alernative (short) URL:

3. site/shortpath

Now, alternative URL should not be redirected to 2. but just an alternative 
path. Is it possible to do this easy way? Thx.
