Hey Dominique.

I am not sure if there is not a larger need for a FE User Registration
Module that would also be able to add people to a newsletter.

What happened to the party framework? How can the Community Extension be
used? Can we reuse code from FE User registration?

As you see its not just a small extension.

We could need some love on those non-core features from the core-devs in
2012!
