Nice Idea!

I've tried

[treeLevel = 3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10]
TCEMAIN {
    permissions.user =
    permissions.group =
    permissions.everybody =
}
[global]

in the page tsconfig.

Wouldn't work though.

Well, it's not important at all. I was just curious if it could be done 
easily.
