[TYPO3-english] hide Content Element for non-admins

Hi,

I have a problem with my TYPO3 non-admin user at my site. I cannot hide 
content elements. The pages are owned by the usergroup of the user, i 
can edit the page, but the edit-pencil is missing.

Any hints on why not being able to hide content element for non-admins 
users?
